Word Jam is a free word-grouping puzzle game from ClueJam, played like NYT Connections (an unaffiliated New York Times game). Sort 16 words into 4 themed groups before you make 4 mistakes — new puzzles every day, up to 3 per day, no signup required.
🎯 How to play
- Read the 16 words. Each puzzle gives you a 4×4 grid of 16 words. Hidden inside are 4 themed groups of 4 words each.
- Select 4 words you think share a theme. Tap or click words to select them. You can pick at most 4 at a time. Use Shuffle to rearrange the grid or Deselect all to start over.
- Submit your guess. If all 4 words belong to the same group, the row locks in and the theme is revealed. If 3 of 4 are correct, you’ll see a “One away” hint.
- Solve all 4 groups before 4 mistakes. Wrong or one-away guesses each cost a mistake. Use 4 mistakes and the game ends — but you’ll see the answers and a share grid.
